That's how someone once referred to my bestie's ever-polished wardrobe. Not too overdone, but definitely not understated. A perfect mix of trendy and chic. That's how I like to think of accessories, as the final touch on an outfit that takes it from a nine to a ten.

When it comes to necklaces, I tend toward statement pieces with lots of color and/or texture. One of my favorite places to find interesting jewelry is Ann Taylor Loft, so I am giving away this Loft necklace to one of you! I adore the different shades of pink beads and the simple silver links. This piece would dress up a jeans & tee look or add the finishing touch to a dress quite nicely.

tick tock tick tock

i love wearing a watch. it makes me feel more grown up and in control. like if i know what time it is, then i will be more productive, make better grades, appear more professional. although i get quite a few comments on how my watch is "almost as big as i am," i especially love wearing this guy.

 {i love that it is both gold and silver. i feel like it coordinates my beautiful silver wedding ring with my funky gold earrings.}

it seems like this is the only piece of jewelry i wear lately...this menswear watch with a gold bangle and pearl stud earrings. sometimes i switch the pearls out for a pair of pink & gold drop earrings.

June Shin Jewelry

Thanks to my friends the AsianCajuns, I am now completely in love with indie jewelry designer June Shin. Her pieces are unique, vintage-inspired, edgy, and simply lovely. (Please note that those are my own words, not those of the designer. She may describe her work differently.) So, as a birthday present to myself, I have decided to being my JS collection with one of her beautiful cameo rings. I have been crazy about cameo ever since I can remember, so I thougt it was a perfect start! The problem: I can't decide which one! This is where you come in. I have narrowed it down to three options from June Shin's Etsy site. Vote for your favorite style to help me make my decision!
