Ever since I stopped dancing a few years ago, I often find myself drawn to pastel colors and silhouettes that remind me of my former ballet days. Be it in the form of full skirts, accurately named ballet flats, or simply a pale pink, I love the memories and sweet nostalgia of a dance studio that such garments provoke. The pink & lavender heather of this top paired with dolman sleeves and incredibly soft cotton immediately struck my ballerina cord. And despite the still 90-degree temperatures, I haven't wanted to take it off all week.
American Eagle top, Joe's Jean leggings, Target wedges, vintage pearls, Banana Republic ring, Michael Kors bag
Here's to dreams of pale pink, ballet slippers, and sparkly white tutus.
*I've also been listening to a lot of Van Morrison lately. There's just something about the coming fall that necessitates a little VM in the mornings.

That looks great together. I can't wait for the fall weather to hit the southeast.
Beautiful outfit, you've got such great taste! Looks like the perfect thing to wear on a weekend shopping trip :)
That sweater is so beautiful and perfect with that bag and necklace goodness. Of course you would be a ballerina, and I'm sure you made a beautiful one!
i love it. i miss my ballet days, although it's been about 14 years. btw, your hair is looking awesome- unlike mine...

Pretty, love those shoes!
The sweater, and the whole look for that matter, look incredibly soft!!
Crushing over the entire outfit, and way to go on the wedge!
I feel the exact same way about ballerina-esque apparel! So nostalgic. Light pink and black combos are perfect for that. You look lovely--and I coveted those wedges at Target and couldn't find them!!!
