Until last week, I hadn't seen the Alexander McQueen for Target line in person and didn't want to get my hopes up, but I was defnitely impressed. I ended up purchasing a dress that I simply love and lived in all weekend. It is a black cotton dress that is both conservative enough to be work-appropriate and McQueen-enough to be fun wear. It's a bit hard to tell from these pictures, but the dress has a really cool belt that wraps from the grey straps around the waist about five times. I would style it with black pumps for work but wore chunky grey sandals this weekend for play.

Aww you look lovely in these pictures (and in real life)!
I definitely need to get some photography lessons from Kevin. Shutter speed, aperture? All too foreign for me...
aH! I love it!!!!!
Merci Sean! It is definitely a mix of shutter speed, aperture, and exposure... maybe something about light balance. He can explain it all!
AK, I toootally wanted to wear this to your house Fri night, but it was too cold. Alas, we'll need to go sit on a patio somewhere this summer so I can wear it :)
i like it! so far i haven't seen much positive reviews of the mcqueen line. and your hear is so long now!
that dress is amazing. i definitely did not see it on my last to target:(
Cute dress! I love the name of your blog... it reminds me of my mum who always wears the most unsuitable footwear.. I'm sure we tried to climb up a volcano once somewhere and she was wearing big gold wedges or something equally ridiculous! :) x
Luxe, there weren't too many things in the line that fit well. Some of the pieces were really fun but fit terribly. I got lucky with this one!
Anon, thanks for reading! I had to look a bit for the line at the one in Athens!
Frock, I am glad you enjoy the blog! I have to say, that I do love the name.. and I am probably a bit like you mother.. wearing completely inappropraite footwear for many activities :)
looks great on you. glad you managed to pic up a mcqueen piece.
As a photographer I can say... they are lovely photos indeed!
Self-portraits I presume?
I kept clicking them, hoping a bigger version would pop up, so I could see just how cute you (and the dress!) are... but alas!
