My college roommate and best friend tends to shy away from darker blue clothes as they remind her of her private school uniforms. And while it's an aversion I can completely understand, I wasn't required to wear a uniform in high school and tend to welcome blue garments into my closet with open arms. So much so that I styled an entire outfit revolving around the color. And chose sheets in a similar hue, but who's keeping track?

Are there any colors you shy away from?

So cute! The tights look great with it! I love blue, and I feel like is a great color on so many people:)

I don't shy away from any colors (except sometimes brown) but navy blue is tricky because I don't view it as a neutral, but it doesn't go well with black and brown, and I'm often wearing one or the other.
I don't wear beige colors cause I generally don't think they look good on blondes (we blend too much, ha). But I LOVE YOUR SHOES.
I love this outfit and those shoes are nothing short of amazing. The way your friend feels about blue I feel about saddle oxfords. I wore them until 8th grade so I can now only associate them with grade school.
I really like your monochromatic blue look. The print on your skirt is bright and splashy, and works perfectly against the bold stripes. I can't wait to see all the different ways you wear your this cute skirt!
those tights are fab.
i shy away from yellow. washout!
