Do any of you feel as though time is simultaneously moving incredibly quickly, yet painfully slow? My days are brimming with appointments, deadlines, and assignments, and yet the weekends always seem so far away. It's honestly quite bewildering. Nonetheless, I've been enjoying the challenge of dressing in only my allotted 30 pieces, and this ensemble was no exception. As you can probably tell, I've been remixing with my vintage cowgirl boots quite a bit. It's due equally to the fact that I adore them and the fact that my other brown-orange boots finally bit the dust. I also love the quirky character these boots bring to an otherwise mundane outfit.
H&M dress, F21 necklace, Vera Wang tights, vintage boots, rings & clutch, OPI Lincoln Park After Dark polish
Do you have a quirky go-to piece in your closet?

I certainly do not see this outfit as mundane--but yes--I have a few go-to pieces and it is generally shoes, scarves or statement jewelry to make any outfit pop.
Happy weekend!
I love my cowboy boots, too! Another quirky go-to piece in my closet is a little lavender knit-cap -- tough to leave home without it these days!

the boots and necklace totally make the outfit. i've never been able to figure out what kind of necklaces to wear with cowl necks, but this is great! i might just have to try something like this now. :)
